Production Process

Kangping Bio operates two state-of-the-art intelligent manufacturing lines dedicated to freeze-dried bovine colostrum powder production, integrating fully automated process control with end-to-end digital management. Critical parameters at every production stage are precisely controlled, ensuring exceptional batch-to-batch consistency while achieving complete data recording and full traceability across the entire production lifecycle. Built upon this mature, validated digital manufacturing framework, the facility has been officially recognized as a “Heilongjiang Provincial Digital (Intelligent) Demonstration Workshop” and certified to the GB/T 23000 series standards for the Integration of Informatization and Industrialization Management System.

At the production equipment level, Kangping Bio has introduced EU-manufactured low-temperature separation systems, integrated with proprietary, custom-engineered production equipment to enable fully enclosed, continuous processing from raw material intake. The entire process employs closed-pipeline transfer, with all unit operations seamlessly integrated and operating in continuous sequence—eliminating process interruptions and preventing exposure of materials. This enclosed continuous processing system provides physical isolation of the production chain from external particulates, foreign contaminants, and microorganisms, thereby mitigating contamination risks at their origin.

At the production process level, Kangping Bio employs advanced, integrated unit operations—including low-temperature fat separation, ceramic membrane cold sterilization, ultrafiltration-based concentration, and vacuum freeze-drying. Throughout processing, raw material temperatures are consistently maintained below 40°C, effectively preventing thermal denaturation and inactivation of heat-sensitive nutrients, thereby preserving the native structural integrity and biological activity of functional bioactive components such as immunoglobulins.

Key ProcessDetailed Description

1

Low-Temperature Fat SeparationThis operation employs a low-temperature separation process that eliminates the preheating step required in conventional thermal separation methods, thereby maintaining the raw material temperature consistently below 5°C throughout processing to preserve the biological activity of thermolabile bioactive components such as immunoglobulins. Fully enclosed centrifugal separation technology replaces conventional water-circulated contact-based processes, eliminating potential exposure of materials to external impurities and contaminants. By stripping excess fat from the raw material, the finished product achieves extremely low fat content, higher purity, and premium quality.

2

Ceramic Membrane Cold SterilizationThis process utilizes inorganic ceramic membrane microfiltration—a purely physical separation technology based on size-exclusion sieving—to selectively retain microbial cells while permitting passage of soluble bioactive components. It achieves precise control of bioburden without thermal or chemical intervention, ensuring compliance with food safety requirements. Material temperature is maintained below 40°C throughout the process, preserving the biological activity of heat-sensitive functional components such as immunoglobulins. The process delivers consistent sterilization performance, with total microbial count in the finished product controllable to within 1,000 CFU/g—meeting the stringent hygiene standards of high-end formulated foods.

3

Ultrafiltration-Based ConcentrationThis process utilizes ultrafiltration membrane technology to purify and concentrate bovine colostrum through physical sieving separation. Material temperature is maintained below 40°C throughout the process, preserving the biological activity of heat-sensitive functional components such as immunoglobulins. Molecular-level precision sieving enables selective impurity removal—a portion of small-molecule impurities such as lactose and inorganic salts can be separated out—yielding high product purity, enhancing both product quality and application versatility.

4

Vacuum Freeze-DryingThis process employs vacuum freeze-drying (lyophilization) at −30 °C, effectively preventing thermal denaturation and oxidative deterioration of heat-sensitive functional components such as immunoglobulins, safeguarding both nutrient content and biological activity. Grounded in the physical principle of sublimation, the pretreated material is uniformly frozen under controlled conditions and subsequently subjected to drying within a sealed, high-vacuum environment, where ice crystals transition directly from solid to vapor phase without passing through liquid state; the resulting water vapor is continuously captured by condenser traps. The finished product's low moisture content helps inhibit microbial proliferation and growth, facilitating long-term storage.
