Heilongjiang Kangping Bioengineering Co., Ltd. ("Kangping Bio") was established in 2003 with a total investment of 100 million CNY. The company occupies a total site area of 44,300 m² and a total floor area of 15,000 m². In 2024, Kangping Bio initiated the construction of a production center in Ningxia with a total investment of 120 million CNY, in order to improve production capacity and supply chain resilience. The new facility occupies a total site area of 20,000 m² and a total floor area of 10,000 m², and officially entered commercial operation in 2025. The company specializes in the research, development, and production of bovine colostrum powder, and also provides OEM and ODM services for finished dietary supplements and functional food products. With an annual processing volume of 7,000 metric tons of fresh bovine colostrum and an annual production capacity of 500 metric tons of freeze-dried bovine colostrum powder, the company is recognized as the largest producer of this product in China, holding a domestic market share exceeding 40%, while exporting to brands and distributors worldwide. The company has been officially recognized as a Hidden Champion, and a Manufacturing Single-Champion Enterprise by national and provincial authorities.

 

Kangping Bio’s headquarters in Heilongjiang Province is situated at 45°N latitude—a globally recognized premium dairy belt and a national key dairy production base—while its Ningxia production center is located at 38°N latitude, within a “Golden Dairy Belt” and among the nation’s top ten pastoral zones. The premium and abundant milk supply underpins the company’s distinctive supply chain advantage. All manufacturing facilities—including Class 100,000 (ISO Class 8) cleanrooms—are constructed and validated in strict accordance with national laws, regulations, and industry technical standards. Kangping Bio has implemented a fully integrated quality management and food safety traceability system spanning the entire value chain—from dairy farm management and fresh bovine colostrum collection, through cold-chain storage and transportation and the entire manufacturing process, to finished-product warehousing and distribution. An in-house laboratory equipped with state-of-the-art instrumentation, staffed by a highly credentialed professional testing team, performs the full spectrum of testing items required for quality control throughout the production lifecycle. Kangping Bio holds certifications to Dairy GMP (GB 12693), HACCP (GB/T 27341), China Export Food Production Enterprise Registration, U.S. FDA Food Facility Registration, and internationally recognized Halal certification—ensuring regulatory compliance across major global markets. Focused on product R&D and process optimization, the company operates an independent R&D center, collaborates with universities and research institutes on new technology development, holds multiple authorized technical patents, and serves as the primary drafting entity for industry standards related to bovine colostrum. It is officially designated as Provincial and Municipal “Enterprise Technology Center”, “National High-Tech Enterprise”, and Provincial “Specialized, Refined, Distinctive, and Innovative (SRDI) Enterprise”.
